CP Library Friends Sponsors Free Poetry Workshop Mar. 28
To kick off the second annual Friends of the Center Point Library Spring Gala and poetry writing contest Friends is sponsoring a free poetry writing clinic at the Library on Monday, Mar. 28, at 6:30 p.m.
Local poet Paul Wood will coach hopeful writers of all ages in the fundamentals of poetry.
Blessed Hope to host ecumenical worship service
Sunday, March 20th @ 6 p.m., Blessed Hope Church will be hosting an ecumenical worship service. The church is located at 1509 M Ave. (behind Theisen's)
Folks from other area churches will also be participating. The music ranges from old time hymns to contemporary Christian music.
